Meghan Trainor wore a tight sparkly dress and sky-high heels for her performance on 'The Tonight Show'mbut her heelsh eventually led her to lose her footing and fall.
Meghan Trainor's performance on The Tonight Show, Thursday, May 12 ended with her falling flat on stage.
Trainor gave the audience an energetic rendition of her new single, "Me Too" but unfortunately, the 22-year-old concluded the show completely on her back-on-the-ground.
Trainor was wearing a tight sparkly dress and sky-high heels, which eventually led her to lose her footing and fall.
The "No" songstress tried to steady herself by grabbing onto the microphone stand, but ultimately it wasn't enough and she fell to the ground, landing flat on her back. However, host Jimmy Fallon quickly ran to her aid and later turned her fall into a joke by joining her on the floor.
"Of every single dance move, grabbing the mic is the toughest," Fallon joked. "Standing ovation for Meghan Trainor, everybody!"
The singer is yet to react to the fall but looks like her ankle is doing just fine. Watch video below:

The sentiment has also been expressed by the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Senator Ben Murray Bruce has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to increase the minimum wage in Nigeria due to the recent increase in fuel price.
Murray-Bruce made the call via his Twitter account (@benmurraybruce) (@Mbuhari) today, May 13, 2016.
The sentiment has also been expressed by the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
“There has to be a serious review of the minimum wage if you are going to increase the pump price of petrol because we all know everything rests on that,” Gbajabiamila said on Thursday, May 12, according to The Nation.
“Prices are going to skyrocket, from school fees to food to transportation to school uniforms and to books. Everything is going to go up because of mono economy. If we are going to do that, it is incumbent upon the government to take seriously the demands of labour.
“Minimum wage needs to be reviewed; we cannot increase the cost of living and keep salaries where it is, they go hand in hand,” he added.
Fuel is now expected to sell at N145 per litre around the country due to the government’s removal of subsidy.

The group, through it spokesperson, Doyin Okupe, also declared null and void, all the activities leading to the national congress of the party. A group under the aegis of the Concerned Stakeholders of the PDP, has announced the sack of the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC).
The group, through it spokesperson, Doyin Okupe, also declared null and void, all the activities leading to the national congress of the party. The Daily Sun reports that a statement was signed by former deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, former Education minister, Professor Tunde Adeniran and Chief, Raymond Dokpesi. Part of the statement reads: “the purported extension of the tenure of the chairman and other members of the national working committee of the party by the NEC was an illegality and, therefore, untenable and contrary to the provision of our party constitution, which gives such powers only to the national convention of the party.”
Also, the spokesman of the party chairman, Inua Bwala, in a swift reaction, condemned the action saying "Senator Ali Modu Sheriff isn’t stepping down as national chairman of the PDP; he is going ahead with plans to conclude with the process that he has started, with ward congress, local government and state congresses and the national convention of this party. Those who feel they cannot belong, those who cannot cope with this, they can as well fall by the roadside. If you can’t withstand the heat, don’t come into the kitchen.”
Bwala also said “Far from that, there can’t be bigger crisis in PDP. Rather, those who are making noise should fall out. You see, you don’t have to ask somebody to go. Genuine reconciliation is going on with people in whose hearts, they have space to make adjustment and agree to work together for the party.
“But those who have foreclosed their minds, to any form of reconciliation can do whatever they want to do. Since Sheriff came on board, he has never said anything about all these things going on. He has never opened his mouth to reply them, because he believes there is still room for us to sit and do genuine reconciliation. But when people who parade themselves as elders decide to take internal affairs of the party to the street, one would be left with no option than to engage them in same manner.
“So, they don’t have the monopoly of mudslinging. These people technically, are no longer members of PDP by their actions.”
The Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike recently announced that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will return to power in 2019.

Hundreds of hardline Muslim activists in Pakistan set fires near parliament and clashed with police on Sunday to protest the execution of a man they consider a hero for assassinating a governor over his criticism of harsh blasphemy laws. Police fired tear gas at the protesters, who had gathered about 700 metres from the parliament building in Islamabad, the capital, footage on local Geo TV showed.
The outpouring of support for executed ex-bodyguard Mumtaz Qadri highlights the growing tension between hardline Islamist groups and Pakistan's civilian government, which has vowed to crack down on extremism. More than 60 people, the majority of them police officers, were injured in the clashes on Sunday, hospital officials told Reuters. "They are all minor injuries, like being hit by stones," said Dr Aisha Issani, spokesperson for the PIMS hospital in Islamabad.
By mid-evening on Sunday, the military was called in to secure the situation. "Army has been requisitioned by the Govt to control situation and secure Red Zone," military spokesman Gen. Asim Bajwa tweeted on his official account, referring to the area around the parliament. Supporters consider Qadri a defender of Islam for killing popular Punjab governor Salman Taseer - for whom he served as a bodyguard - because Taseer had criticized a Pakistani law that mandates the death penalty for insulting Islam or the Prophet Mohammad.
Taseer had raised questions about the law - which is harsher in Pakistan than in most Muslim countries - as part of his support of a Christian woman he said was unjustly charged with the crime. Last year, 210 cases of criminal blasphemy were filed. Critics say many cases are levelled against Christians and other religious minorities and are often used to exact revenge or seek advantage in personal or business disputes.[[ At least 65 people, including lawyers, defendants and judges, have been murdered over blasphemy allegations since 1990, according to figures from a Center for Research and Security Studies report and local media.
